Fractional Luxury

Fractional luxury is a major plus of fractional ownership. The luxury associated with private jet ownership also belongs to those who of fractional programs. These luxuries can range from the flexibility of scheduling to the quality of the actual flight.

Time Savings

The biggest fractional luxury is the saving of time. Everyone is given twenty-four hours every day but not everyone can use it the same way. Being able to be in five different major cities in a day, when those who are limited with commercial flights may have to settle for a maximum of two cities, provides a wonderful business advantage. Those who know not to waste time know the necessity of saving time. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy recently mentioned that he flew millions of miles every year with commercial airlines. Then he decided to absorb the cost of private jets. After a concert he will now fly home in a private jet and be able to be home when his children wake up. Before he would be away for days at a time. He has learned the value of saving time to be a success not just in business but also his family life.

Schedule Flexibility

Most fractional ownership programs only need between six to ten hours to provide a jet ready to take you where you need within the continental United States. Once your take-off time is established, the fractional luxury begins. Imagine a jet ready just for you, when you arrive and settle in, you are taking off. When you land, your ride takes you and you are off. No early arrival for security, no missing flights, no worries about connections, no boarding lines, and no wait on baggage claim (much less any lost baggage).

Locations Expanded

With commercial flights you are limited to the hubs and spokes of the system. That allows only 500 options in the continental US. Fractional luxury opens that possibility by a factor of ten, five thousands possible airports to use for your travel. The will allow you to again save time by using closer and less crowded airports at your desired destination.

In-Flight Accommodations

Standards are high for jet owners. The aircraft are built for comfort. Imagine all the seating as first class and then some. Ability to dine on food you desire and drink the beverages you designate. You also have privacy unimaginable on commercial aircraft, no one to overhear your conversations. No superfluous noise from crowds to contend with. Pets a can join you and many programs even allow smoking on their planes. Be able to stretch out get some work done or relax if you prefer.

Status

People may not want to mention it but there is a status to be flown in private luxury. Fractional luxury allows others to know that you are part of the elite without having to say or flaunt it. The jet does the speaking for you.

Fractional Ownership Downsides

  • Many jets may be small, so actually standing during flight may not be an option.

  • Size and weight, again, can be issues for light aircraft. Restrooms may not be available and luggage may be limited.

  • Fractional ownership, you could have delays (since you are sharing aircraft) that actual jet owners do not.
