When economic times are hard it can seem against intuition to plan to use an executive jet as a your method of transport. But hiring of a jet for businesses can be a viable option. Add the direct costs of three or four commercial executive flights/tickets to the prices of doing businesses plus the indirect costs of time wasted while negotiating the frazzling airport and an executive jet - while not in good market - becomes an increasingly realistic option. And if the executives can arrive at the house at the end of the day, their company also saves on hotel bills.

The much unfavourable feeling towards holding a private jet is based on the obsolete image of these like planes as a pharoah's barge - an image which, in the majority of cases, is completely in dissension with the uses at which these planes are put today.

Secondly, like the remark above, the important airports have become more and more frustrating places- moreover longer times of recording, queues for safety, prohibitions of the liquids. That all adds up to a dispute that the senior officers can make outwards. The hiring of an executive jet gives you the capacity to enter more smaller airports close to your final destination, saving valid time.

And the airports specializing in executive aviation, have an additional inherent layer of safety. No matter who flight on a private jet is usually known with his comrade-passengers and thus by definition a threat is not.

Such airports have the additional advantage to be discrete; if your company is in hillock with the discussions of takeover for a foreign competitor, for example, you cannot want that your senior officers are seen in the living rooms of businesses of the traditional airports.
